Mark Gallant, Gregory Fliszar, and Robert Chu, of Cozen O'Connor's Health Law group, co-authored the chapter titled, “Medicaid Managed Care” in Thomson Reuters’ newly released Health Law Handbook (2018 ed.). Gallant, Fliszar, and Chu’s chapter address one of the most pressing issues in modern-day health care — the shift from fee-for-service Medicaid to Medicaid managed care. The chapter explains the background, rules, and implementation of the Medicaid managed health care delivery system, including provider payment and network adequacy issues.
