Eric D. Freed will present the webinar, “Cooperation Between Insurers and Law Enforcement in Arson Investigations – A Case Study” to the International Association of Arson Investigators.
The presentation will be structured as a case study of the devastating fire that destroyed a commercial property in the Old City section of downtown Philadelphia in February 2018. The webinar will focus on the insurance investigation and the subsequent federal criminal investigation that ensued, and how insurers can legally comply with their obligation to report suspected arson claims to law enforcement.
