Jim will explore the current national landscape surrounding noncompetes and what companies need to do to protect their business interests. He will highlight the status and goals of state and federal regulations on noncompetes and other restrictive covenants, sharing how ever-changing state laws could impact your business and existing employment contracts. He will also cover strategies to protect your geographically diverse workforce, including California’s new extraterritorial ban on restrictive covenants and the potential removal of noncompetes. Additionally, Jim will advise on updating protection programs and review company communication and compliance strategies.
