Kathy Jaffari will speak on a panel with the American Bar Association (ABA) that addresses organizational and operational challenges facing corporate counsel, both internal and external. The webinar will refer to the book recently published by the ABA titled "Corporate Governance: Understanding the Board-Management Relationship." Issues of governance, oversight, and management are complex and situation-specific across organizations of all sizes. The authors present a framework that enables corporate counsel to aid in the resolution of these issues, drawing on the authors’ experience and familiarity with the Boeing, Marchand (Blue Bell), Wells Fargo, and Walt Disney matters, along with their experiences with corporations, large general partnerships, and bankruptcy reorganizations of international entities. The authors’ objectives are to provide counsel with concepts, approaches, and tools to aid in addressing the delicate but critical issues requiring counsel’s involvement.
