Rich will present “Florida Subrogation Update: Recent Changes to the Statute of Limitations and Statute of Repose” at the South Florida Claims Association’s 2024 Day of Education in Tamarac, Florida. The presentation will discuss the significant changes to the deadlines impacting civil litigation in Florida, including a shorter Statute of Limitations for negligence claims, a revision to comparative fault, and a shortening of the Statute of Repose for claims involving improvements to real property. The presenters will discuss each change, and how it impacts civil litigation of subrogation claims in Florida.
