Mariah Passarelli will present “Electronic Information: Ethical Pitfalls and Best Practices” at the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel Spring Training. Mariah will discuss the ethical use of social media and other forms of electronically stored information in litigation, discovery, hiring, and employee discipline. She will focus on pitfalls within the Rules of Professional Responsibility that attorneys should avoid when directly using or assisting clients in using electronic information for these purposes. Lastly, she will discuss best practices to mitigate the risk of both ethics violations and company liability in this area.
