Wendy Venoit will speak on the panel “Blowing in the Wind: Unveiling Risks and Harnessing the Opportunities of Offshore Wind” at the 2024 Society of Construction Law North America Annual Conference. Wendy will discuss how we can learn from offshore oil & gas exploration and production and apply those lessons to offshore wind projects. She will also address risk allocation issues in oil & gas compared to offshore renewable projects, consider different strategies for minimizing those risks, and examine CRUX, HKA’s integrated research program and database, to compare causes of claims and disputes on both types of projects.
