Gary L. Gassman, chair, ABA Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section, will provide the welcome and opening remarks at the Toxic Torts & Environmental Law 31st Annual Spring Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona.
This conference will focus on the development and defense of novel toxic tort and environmental science through the lens of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances- known as PFAS. The presenters will provide an analysis of the most recent national trends toxic tort and environmental litigation, takeaways from recent benzene and PFA matters, and discussions with regulators and educators regarding the future of regulatory affairs and new routes of chemical exposure and ingestion. Panelists will speak on the differences in the personal injury litigation, environmental due diligence, and environmental restoration litigation.
