Steven Dickinson, Neil Quartaro, and Edward Weisz will be panelists at the “Latest Cross-Border Legal Strategies In the U.S.” program for the Osaka Bar Association.
Steven Dickinson will speak on the panel “Cross-border Transactions and M&A.”
Neil Quartaro will speak on the panel “Newest Developments in International Dispute Resolution.” Neil will discuss pre-suit considerations, such as attempting mediation or other commercial resolutions, factors relevant to a Japanese company considering bringing suit or being forced to defend suit, and preliminary motion and discovery considerations.
Edward Weisz will speak on the panel “Hot Topics in Intellectual Property.” Edward will discuss direct and vicarious liability strategies for the infringement of U.S. patents and cross-border protection of network-related patents.
