Deborah Winokur will speak on the panel “Ethics, Harassment and the First Amendment: A Review of the Genesis of and Litigation Surrounding Rule of Professional Conduct 8.4(g)” for The Cyril H. Wecht Institute of Forensic Science and Law at Duquesne University. Deborah will discuss the new Rule of Professional Conduct adopted by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, which prohibits attorneys from knowingly engaging in “conduct constituting harassment or discrimination” based on race, sex, religion, and other grounds; and its potential impact on legal practice in Pennsylvania.
