This webinar will focus on important risk transfer issues under Texas law. The presenters will discuss various types of additional insured endorsements to common situations involving contractors and subcontractors; how interpretations of additional insured endorsements affect an insurer’s duty to defend and/or indemnify; and priority of coverage between named insureds and additional insureds. The presenters will also discuss contractual indemnity and how it differs from additional insured coverage, and address common “other insurance” provisions when concurrent insurers seek to allocate coverage for a loss, and how the provisions are treated under Texas law when they conflict.
