Michael Fernandez will speak on the panel “A Tour Around the World: Academic, In-House, and Judicial Views of Managing Complex Multi-Jurisdictional Disputes” at the 2023 Hispanic National Bar Association Annual Convention. Michael will discuss the challenges of managing multi-jurisdictional civil proceedings, the risks that U.S. nationals and companies might face when litigating in other jurisdictions, and the tools to manage such risks, such as anti-suit injunctions, arbitration, and forum selection clauses.
