Matt Weinstein will lead a roundtable discussion at the 2022 International Council of Shopping Centers Law Conference titled “The Not So Dirty Dozen (Prohibited Uses that are No Longer Problematic).” Matt will touch on shopping center uses, such as cannabis, houses of worship, massage parlors, and car dealerships, that were typically viewed as immoral, unseemly, or incompatible with first class shopping center clientele. The discussion will further explain how these uses are gaining popularity as tastes and morals have changed and how these uses are now seen as traffic drivers in a shopping center.
