Michael Fernández will moderate the “Class Actions and Latin America: Their Interaction with the U.S. Market” panel at the 2021 Hispanic National Bar Association Annual Convention. Michael and the panelists will examine the arrival of class actions in Latin American jurisdictions and compare the experience in these jurisdictions with that of the United States. They will also discuss the role of local counsel in U.S.-based class actions involving Latin American companies publicly traded in the United States and how Latin American investors can bring class action disputes in the U.S.
