Please join Cozen O’Connor’s Institutional Response Group (IRG) as we continue our ongoing discussion about practical implementation of the final Title IX regulations.

This 90-minute webinar will provide participants with a detailed look at the prescriptive requirements related to investigations and evidentiary considerations under the final Title IX regulations. It will focus on drafting written notice to the parties, evidentiary considerations related to relevance and privilege, the use of prior sexual history or evidence of prior or subsequent misconduct, the consolidation of formal complaints, the sharing of evidence “directly related to the allegations,” drafting investigation reports, and the potential role of the investigator in evaluating jurisdiction for mandatory dismissal. The webinar will also integrate a discussion of effective investigation protocols, including communications, investigative chronologies, and good documentation practices.

This will be the fifth in a series of webinars hosted by Cozen O’Connor’s Institutional Response Group, a team of dedicated lawyers focusing exclusively on improving institutional responses to sexual and gender-based harassment and violence in the educational context. The series will track the key elements of the Title IX Regulations through the life cycle of a Title IX case from intake through appeal.

CLE is approved in PA, NY, TX, IL, NV, and CA.
