Tiffany Jenca and Mariah Passarelli will be presenting various FMLA topics at this event. The first presentation for Tiffany and Mariah is "FMLA Backgrounds and Legal Requirements." They will discuss common pitfalls associated with FMLA administration, as well as discuss best practices for curbing FMLA leave abuse. They will also be presenting "The Intersection of FMLA and ADA." They will address best practices in handling the tricky “FMLA tail,” where an employee is unable to return to work (or must return to work with restrictions) following exhaustion of his/her FMLA benefits. Their final presentation will be "How FMLA impacts Compensation." They will discuss the rules of the road under the FMLA related to employee compensation.
