The National Association of Subrogation Professionals is holding the NASP 2019 Subrogation Litigation: Skills & Management Conference on Thursday, March 28 and Friday, March 29, 2019. This two day conference will offer daily keynote presentations followed by concurrent sessions. David Brisco and Joseph Rich will present a session titled, "Deals with the Devil: Indemnity, Confidentiality and Subro Settlement Agreement Snags." This presentation will discuss how to plan ahead and respond when presented with demands to include indemnity provisions, confidentiality provisions, requests for the insured’s signature, and other snags in proposed settlement agreements.
The theme of the conference this year is, “Subrogation Essentials: Advanced Tools for Excellence”. From frontline adjusters and subrogation personnel responsible for the initial adjustment and investigation, to attorneys and managers overseeing the fact-gathering, expert retention, and litigation, this conference will provide first-class master-level training to assist in the handling of subrogation claims.
