Rick Mackowsky and Stephen Kempa of the Global Insurance Department, present this one hour webinar. The webinar will provide attendees with an overview of the issues that can arise when the insured presents a claim for the increased cost of construction following a loss in order to comply with building laws or ordinances. This presentation will explore whether or not such claims are covered, the range of provisions that may bear on coverage for such claims, and the key issues that can arise under these provisions, or in their absence.
Attendees will include claim professionals who handle property damage claims under personal lines and commercial property policies, including those who handle major losses, and less experienced claim professionals interested in an introduction to and overview of the issues that can arise in such claims.
